TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Effective date: September 2, 2026
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of this website and your purchase of tickets to classes, workshops, and events offered by Jorge's Barber Academy (also referred to as Jorge's Fades, "we," "us," or "our"). By using the site or purchasing a ticket, you agree to these terms.
Eligibility and accurate information
You must be at least 18 years old to purchase a ticket. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete registration information, including the correct name and email for every attendee on your order. Admission may be refused where registration information is inaccurate, incomplete, or does not match the attendee present.
Ticket purchase and admission
- A ticket grants one named attendee admission to the specific event and date purchased.
- Prices are shown in U.S. dollars and are charged at checkout. A seat is only confirmed once payment is completed and a confirmation with a registration code is issued.
- Seats reserved during checkout are held temporarily while payment is completed. Unpaid holds are released automatically.
- Availability is limited and registration may close at any time at the organizer's discretion. Attempted purchases after registration closes will not be honored.
- Attendees should arrive on time; late arrival does not extend the event or create a right to a refund.
Event conduct and organizer authority
Attendees are expected to behave professionally and respectfully toward the instructor, other attendees, models, staff, and the host venue, and to follow all venue rules and safety instructions. The organizer may refuse entry to, or remove, any person who is disruptive, unsafe, impaired, harassing, or in violation of these terms or venue policy, without a refund. Attendees are responsible for their own tools and belongings.
Schedule, speaker, and location adjustments
Event content, agenda, timing, featured guests, demonstrations, models, and venue may be adjusted where reasonably necessary. We will communicate material changes to registered attendees by email using the address provided at registration. Cancellations and reschedules are handled under the Refund and Transfer Policy.
Educational information disclaimer
All classes, demonstrations, digital products, written material, and AI-assisted answers on this site are provided for educational purposes only. They are not licensing instruction, business, legal, financial, medical, or safety advice, and they do not guarantee any particular skill outcome, certification, income, or business result. You are solely responsible for your own work behind the chair and for complying with the licensing, sanitation, and health regulations that apply to you.
Intellectual property
All content on this site and presented at our events — including curriculum, techniques as taught, written material, handouts, video, photography, logos, and branding — is owned by Jorge's Barber Academy or its licensors and is protected by applicable law. You may take personal notes and personal reference photos or clips where the organizer permits it.
You may not, without prior written permission:
- Record, livestream, or broadcast an event in full or in substantial part;
- Reproduce, resell, sublicense, or distribute our materials or class content commercially;
- Use our content to create or promote a competing paid class, course, or training product;
- Remove or alter any credit, watermark, or branding on our materials.
The organizer may photograph or film events for promotional use. Attendees may indicate photo and filming preferences at registration, and reasonable accommodations will be made.
Assumption of risk and limitation of liability
Attendance is voluntary and involves ordinary risks associated with an in-person, tools-in-hand professional environment. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jorge's Barber Academy and its instructors, staff, and venue partners are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, travel, lodging, or time away from work. Our total liability arising out of or relating to an event or these terms will not exceed the amount you actually paid for the affected ticket. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or an event will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Louisiana, and you consent to that jurisdiction and venue.
Refund and Transfer Policy
Our Refund and Transfer Policy is incorporated into and forms part of these Terms and Conditions. By purchasing a ticket you agree to it.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date above reflects the current version, and the terms in effect at the time of your purchase apply to that purchase.
